  • Miriam J. Benkovitz, professor emerita of English for 30 years, died June 12, 1986, following a long illness. She was 74.
  • Robert “Bob” Benson, a dedicated member of ߣƵ’s Facilities Services staff for 42 years, died on Friday, Aug. 22, 2025. He was 78.
  • Mabel "Peggy" Biggie, a longtime housekeeping and Dining Services employee, died peacefully on September 14, 2018. She was 92.
  • Charlie Blodgett, who retired from ߣƵ’s post office in 1992, died on Thursday, April 16, 2020. He was 88.
  • Frederick Bolster, who served for 40 years in ߣƵ’s maintenance operations, died December 4, 2017, at Saratoga Hospital following a short illness. He was 72.
  • Associate Professor Emeritus of English Philip Boshoff P’09, who left an enduring mark on the teaching of academic writing at ߣƵ and for whom the College’s Writing Center is named, died April 14, 2026. He was 76.
  • John Bradley, a longtime member of the Custodial Operations staff, died Feb. 11, 2015. He was 75.
  • Mary Oliver Bradley, a member of the Dining Services staff for 42 years, died Sunday, September 27, 2009, in Saratoga Springs.
  • Una Bray, associate professor of mathematics emerita, died April 30, 2019. She was 72.
  • Leon E. Briggs Sr., retired member of the College's Custodial Operations staff, died March 11, 2012, at Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs.
  • Regis C. Brodie P’88,’99, an acclaimed artist and beloved professor emeritus who inspired generations of students and community members by sharing his lifelong joy in making art, died on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024. He was 81.
  • Harriet Maxwell Brown, a member of the ߣƵ faculty for 32 years, died at the age of 94 in Exeter, N.H., during the early winter of 1991.
  • William Brynteson, professor emeritus of history, died June 13, 2004, in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.
  • Lisa Maureen Burke, assistant director of sponsored research, died following a valiant fight with cancer on Sept. 24, 2023. She was 43.
  • Ella Mae Burns, a retired customer attendant/short order cook in Dining Services, died March 11, 2026,. She was 66.
  • John "Ted" Butler, ߣƵ’s former director of financial planning and budgeting, died May 8, 2020, in Franklin, Tennessee. He was 91.
  • Mary J. Byrne, former cashier in financial services, passed away February 6, 2011, at Saratoga Hospital. She was 96.
  • Lee Canfield, a longtime administrative staffer, died July, 15 2004.
  • Irene Carn, longtime professor of nursing, died April 24, 1994, in Sarasota, Fla.
  • Betty Chandler, a retiree from ߣƵ’s housekeeping staff, died October 15, 2017, after a long illness. She was 85.
