Kahstoserakwathe Paulette Moore, Kanyenkeh脿:ka faculty-in-residence and lecturer at the John B. Moore Documentary Studies Collaborative; Angela Beallor-Press, MDOCS documentarian in community co-creation; Siobhan Hart, associate professor of anthropology; Sarah Kizuk, assistant professor of philosophy; and Xander Prince, assistant professor of religious studies, presented at the Haudenosaunee & Indigenous Matrilineality Symposium organized by . Their presentation, 鈥淢atrilineal Knowledge and the Oh茅nton Karihwat茅hkwen: Reflections from our Treaty Partners,鈥� drew from MDOCS Co-Creation Initiative partnerships and a Fall 2024 Racial Justice Learning Community that explored how Haudenosaunee values and action 鈥撯�� from the foundation of the Oh茅nton Karihwat茅hkwen and matrilineal knowledge 鈥撯�� may impact and influence world view, pedagogy, and community wellbeing.
Kieron Sargeant, assistant professor of dance, recently served as a at the University of Wisconsin-Madison during their Black History Month celebrations.
