- Introductions
- We introduced each other.
- Approve minutes from 2026-10-07
- The committee approved the minutes by unanimous consent.
- Online Course Evaluations [Kerry Nelson and Joe Stankovich]
- The committee discussed draft communications to chairs and program directors and to faculty about online course evaluations. Separate messages will be sent to chairs and program directors and to all faculty and academic support staff.
- A SmartEvals training webinar is scheduled for Friday, 23 October, and will be promoted separately.
- The committee discussed how to communicate the changes to students. Email distribution is planned for 15 October. Further revisions to the communications do not need to return to CEPP.
- FDA Conversation with Union College on Microcredentials [Kelly Sheppard]
- Kelly reviewed his report on conversations with Union College. The committee noted that it has previously discussed microcredentials and certificates.
- The committee briefly discussed the educational value of microcredentialing.
- Kelly also discussed the possibility of changing accreditors, drawing on information from Union College.
- No action by CEPP is required at this time.
- Technology Literacy Assessment Review [Kelly Sheppard]
- This item was tabled until the next meeting.
